[MSA] Constant updates to MSA

MapleStory Adventures is constantly updating to satisfy your desire for cooler interface and adding in more things to do besides going around killing monsters!

For one, you can now change your hair or face for coins or Facebook credits! So whenever you're sick of your look, or your look doesn't match the equips you're wearing, fear not, plastic surgery to your rescue!

Well, its not considered very expensive either, if you save up or keep visiting Yulete to craft "Pocket money" recipes. As compared to in-game where you can only change your hair or face with lots of cash.

New places to explore too! New maps have been added in for you to explore, new monsters to chase after. Irene is even here with her plane to fetch us to a faraway land, Mushroom Castle Wall Edge! Find her at Kerning if you want to go over to the Sky Scraper maps.
Find Irene and plane at Kerning City

There's incorporation of Monster Book as well, just like in MapleSEA. I haven't figured out the "EQUIP" button under the 5 stars yet, but once I've killed 20 more King Slime I shall be enlightened!
Other changes include the increase of skills and making it easier (less coins, less skill permits needed) to learn and upgrade them!

Its great that they keep revamping and making MSA more interesting with new dimensions and new places to explore. After all, its still a new game that can possible develop much more, I think! But I have to admit, I'm slightly bored of it already!

[MSEA] Lion King Von Leon events

There have been a plethora of events ever since the inception of the Lion King Von Leon patch v1.07! For the entire content of the patch, refer here! I'll just be going through a couple of cute events.

1. View of the Rainbow and Gaga's crayons quest
After visiting Cassandra and starting the "View of the Rainbow" quest, go visit Gaga to obtain a pot of flower! Stay online for 30 minutes, the flower will bloom he'll award you with a Crayon! The colour of the crayon changes every day from 17/8 to 31/8, so its kind of necessary for you to come online everyday to obtain the 7 different colours of the rainbow.
Cassandra, the completed Rainbow painting, Gaga
You have a one day exception though: "Missed out one day and short of 1 color crayon? Not to worry! Gaga will give you the crayon of color that you want at the end of the event!"
In return, tada! The stats are alright I guess, unless you scroll it to be a really awesome overall. There's the +2 WA/MA anyway.

2. Ani raid!
For characters level 70 and up, at the start of every hour from 10am-10pm server time, an invitation will be sent for you to join the raid against this fearsome monster! If you accept, you'll be transported to a waiting room, then subsequently grouped into groups of 15 and transported to the map where Ani resides in~
So.. you just head straight towards it and kill.
There is a catch though, there is a limit on the pot you can take when you're inside the map. Time limit, if I'm not wrong. So far twice I've been in, Ani has been relatively easy to kill that I feel sad for it! Well, after its dead, you get a certain amount of exp based on how much your damage was, head over to the NPC on the left, get transported into another map and claim your reward: Ani's box
Double click it and there you have your reward~ I got a GFA 60% on the first try, must be way lucky, especially cause the price is like rocket-high right now.  Here's a list of drops: (from HiddenStreet)

Rewards:
Purification Totem Purification Totem x 5 (10.3400000%)
Purification Totem Purification Totem x 10 (10.3400000%)
Elixir Elixir x 50 (13.7900000%)
Elixir Elixir x 100 (10.3400000%)
Secret Mastery Book Secret Mastery Book x 1 (0.3400000%)
Advanced Potential Scroll Advanced Potential Scroll x 1 (0.6900000%)
Potential Scroll Potential Scroll x 1 (1.0300000%)
Equip Enhancement Scroll Equip Enhancement Scroll x 1 (1.0300000%)
Scroll for Cape for STR 60% Scroll for Cape for STR 60% x 1 (1.0300000%)
Scroll for Cape for INT 60% Scroll for Cape for INT 60% x 1 (1.0300000%)
Scroll for Cape for DEX 60% Scroll for Cape for DEX 60% x 1 (1.0300000%)
Scroll for Cape for LUK 60% Scroll for Cape for LUK 60% x 1 (1.0300000%)

Yippee. Right now, the prices of potential scrolls and all scrolls, really, are inflating so much! Probably a boom period before the bust period comes.

My examinations are like tomorrow. Wish me well & happy mapling!

[MSA] Review of MapleStory Adventures

Well its finally up!
So here's a short review of what it is like!

I chose a mage because I wasn't sure I would like melee style fighting. Since you probably can't change jobs in the game, better be safe than sorry!

First, quests lead you on in the game. There are a few main ones, which will be displayed at the left side of the screen. There are quests from NPCs at every map too, and they are mostly map specific. Like "Hunt 30 slimes" or "Collect 15 Seals" or something like that. They are relatively easy to complete, and you mostly get money as rewards! $.$

If you're not interested in completing these quests, you can just hunt slimes to level up or something. But bear in mind that some quests allow you to level your skill up and learn crafting and things like that! I'm not sure if you can proceed on to the next map to higher level monsters and so on. I'll check again!
As for skills, complete certain quests and you can unlock the various levels in each skills. As you upgrade it higher, you'll need skill permits. Here's how the social game part comes in. You can either use Facebook credit to buy, or you could have a chance to get it every 5 consequetive days you log in, or you could ask your friends to send these permits to you.
The art of crafting! It reminds me of the profession skills that are going to come out in Chaos patch. So once you buy the recipe, you can start crafting inside your cauldron. The red rock you see is the magic stone, which drops out of every mob you kill.
There you go, the magic stone!

The game interface feels very much like a mini-MapleStory, except with the usual Facebook game elements. One rather annoying thing is that your energy keeps running out. Each day, you have 2 free refills of 70 energy, so make full use of that! You have to train till you have no more energy and there will be a pop-up allowing you to collect the pizza (70 energy).
One major difference would be the map! To get around places, you click the World Map and you click on the destination you want to get to. Fast and efficient, I must say, but I wouldn't mind a nearest town scroll please!

The music playing is the background song in Henesys town, which further adds on to the feel of the authentic MapleStory! All in all, its a rather nice game to pass time for MapleStory fanatics waiting for the server check to be over. Go try it out!
